DAVID PROVED THAT ATTITUDE IS A LITTLE THING THAT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE

In October 2017, CYD’s Orlando terminal needed extensive repairs such as the complete replacement of the pit hopper and trestle, as well as the refurbishment of holes in the drop chute of the conveyor. These repairs required multiple days of work at one of the company‚Äôs busiest rail terminals. Rather than shutting down operations the entire week, David worked on a Sunday while the rail terminal was closed to safely make the repairs. Moreover, his dedication to efficiency and quality work resulted in having the Orlando terminal shut down for just one work-day. David’s selfless work ethic proved to make a minimal interruption to what could have been a major disturbance to operations.
