On November 13, 2015, the child of a recent hire became very ill and required medical attention. Since the new employee and his family had just become eligible for medical coverage on November 1st, they had not yet received their medical ID cards. Knowing they would need the cards to be seen by a doctor, Kim called the insurance provider to ensure coverage was activated and coordinated the delivery of a temporary ID card.
Because of Kim’s actions, the family was able to take their son to the doctor to receive medical treatment.
