The Florida First Coast Chapter of the American Concrete Institute designated the I-295/I-95 SR9A North Operational Improvements as a significant concrete structure. Preferred Materials was recognized as the concrete supplier along with the rest of the project team made up of the Florida Department of Transportation, the CEI RS&H CS, Superior Construction as the prime contractor and the designer PB Americas.
The Arlington is a new luxury resort-style continuing care retirement community which required Preferred Materials to provide 25,000 cubic yards of concrete and a wide array of structural concrete mix designs.
In mid-October 2014, Preferred Materials, Inc. began a 4-mile resurfacing project of Pelican Bay Blvd. in Naples, FL.
Preferred Materials, Inc recently supplied over 6000 cubic yards of our specialty product DrainReady for use in the beach parking lots on Siesta Key.
