Prestige Gunite & Shotcrete provided the concrete and gunite services for the Del Webb Lakewood Ranch community resort-style pool and spa.
The North FL Asphalt Division is near-completion on an FDOT contract requiring 158,000 tons of hot mix asphalt and improvements along I-75 at State Road 222 up to north of US 441 in Alachua County.
The Preferred Materials Concrete Division completed a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The 8,000 cubic yards of concrete that was needed for this project varied between different concrete designs ranging from 3,000psi and 6,000psi.
Preferred Materials is providing 35,000 CY of structural concrete, 6,500 CY of augercast piling grout for HJ Foundation, 330,00 units of concrete block, and 22,000 bags of premix mortar for the 26-story Seaglass Bonita Bay Highrise in Bonita Springs, FL.
Preferred Materials provided 1,740 cubic yards of concrete for the ground slab of the LeeSar warehouse expansion in Fort Myers, FL.
The Preferred Materials Concrete Division completed a 25-story residential high rise project on Harbour Island in Tampa. The project required 20,000 CY and consisted of 10,000psi and 8,000psi foundation columns.
Preferred Materials provided over 2,500 cubic yards of concrete for a total of 6 bridges and 135,000 tons of asphalt for Florida’s first diverging diamond interchange.
The Preferred Materials family of products and services provided over 4,000 CY of concrete, 2,800 tons of asphalt - installed by our Private Commercial Division, 30,000 tons of granite from CYD, and 600 tons of high-quality triple screened warning track material.
Preferred Materials provided more than 500 tons of asphalt to the City of Jacksonville in order to create a smoother transition onto two bridge decks where its footings had settled at different elevations.
The Private & Commercial Division of Preferred Materials Asphalt paved 2,376 parking stalls and 808,000 sq. ft. of parking area with drive lanes at the Tampa Premium Outlet Mall in Wesley Chapel, FL.
Preferred Materials provided more than 30,000 cubic yards of concrete for the Golisano Children’s Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. It is located at Health Park Medical Center and is part of the Lee Memorial Hospital System.
Preferred provided 51,000 square yards of asphalt pavement to Skanska USA Inc. and Jr. Davis Construction Company to be used at the Florida Polytechnic University campus, located in Lakeland, FL.
Under an FDOT contract, Preferred resurfaced, restored and rehabilitated the 1.7 miles of the 6-lane divided highway, SR 10 (best known as Atlantic Boulevard), located in Jacksonville, FL.
Preferred Materials provided a total of 23,000 cubic yards of ready-mixed concrete and over 500,000 blocks for Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, located in Naples, FL.
Preferred Materials provided 180,000 square yards (40,000 tons) of asphalt pavement, work for Whiting-Turner and the Briar Team. The paving was done for a large grocery distribution center based out of Orlando, FL. The overall project completed in Fall 2014.

Preferred furnished and installed 112,000 square yards of pavement with 2,575 parking spaces for online retailer Amazon's 1.2M SF warehouse fulfillment center, located inside the SouthShore Corporate Park, in Ruskin, FL.
